I have heard terror stories of human who used redirection services like TinyURL and Bitly - apparently they are notorious for regular screwing up affiliate links and not offering you credit for any sales. Most other link restricting services will have these problems also.
The excellent link cloaker is one that you might put on your own site so you don't have to worry relating anything going down or not working properly. As I mentioned before, this might be tough to make if you aren't a programmer - or ready to pay one.
