As I think of the nursery paging system, it seems like churches using them are either using a really old method or are somewhere in between. I don't know the moment the first nursery was initially introduced by the church, but there are enormous churches in Europe which date back many centuries that could very easily accommodate a nursery. And I am positive if they did have a nursery, a person from it would need to venture out into the congregation to tell a parent that they were needed by their child. But in fact the distressing thing is today with our sophisticated technological innovations, quite a few churches are still using this same outdated method.
Having a nursery volunteer or usher wander up and down the aisles to find a mother or father can not only be embarrassing for the mother and father but at the same time disrupts the service and the people around them. So it was time for a change. Next we used the LED monitor nursery paging system. A LED monitor ended up being installed in the front of the church, someplace within eye's view of the Preacher or Father. Typically off to the right or left, but up high enough where it could be prominently displayed. This method does work, but normally churches are attractively built and designed, and a LED display with glowing red lights usually sticks out like a sore thumb. And parents usually wait in anticipation to see if the number they were given when they dropped their toddler off comes up any time soon.
Then with the use of computer presentation software used during the service, the nursery paging system changed once again. Now a child's number could be displayed in one of the four corners of the screen. But unfortunately, the presentation computer software isn't used for the whole service, so occasionally a mother or father can't be notified.
And finally the nursery paging system evolved to what is available today. Now nurseries will check out personal pagers to parents. At the time a parent checks their youngster in, they check out a pager. The moment the parent returns the pager to the nursery, their toddler is released to them. This is a great safety feature for children since the nursery is an easy place to abduct children for mothers and fathers that are in a custody battle. It is sad to say, but it is true. Also, the pager is actually silent and vibrates when the parent is needed. It is completely private and doesn't disturb others. A mother or father can also be paged anywhere on the church campus wherever they are at. The days of being concerned about your youngster in the nursery are gone. No more disrupting the service or nervously watching for your number, the nursery paging system has definitely come a long way.
The Latest Nursery Pager System Is Easy To Work With, Discreet, And Will Increase The Safety Of Your Children. Does your church nursery pager system still consist of a nursery volunteer going out into the congregation and disrupting the service to notify a parent that their child needs them? As churches have evolved with technology, isn't it time the nursery pager system do the same?
